Participants have to be aware that Social Enterprises are different than NGOs. NGOs are non-profit organizations, while Social Enterprises are profit-oriented organizations yet they address a social problem.
Your product/service must address a community or social challenge and have to generate revenues.
Your business should be at the idea stage.
Startups in all sectors are eligible
Fill in the “Socialpreneur” Application Form.
Individuals or teams can participate. Maximum of 4 members per team.
Attach a personal Resume for each member of the team.
Applications can be in Arabic or English.
Make sure to submit prior to deadline.
Awards of Iraqpreneurs 2018/2019 Season:
First Place: $10,000 ($5,000 in Cash & $5,000 in In-Kind)
Second Place: $5,000 ($2,000 in Cash & $3,000 in In-Kind)
Third Place: $2,500 ($1,000 in Cash & $1,500 in In-Kind Support)
Also, all 3 winners will be given access to networking opportunities with potential angel investors.
It is important to note that the awards of Iraqpreneurs 2020 season are not identified yet by The Central Bank of Iraq, and Iraqpreneurs platform will not cover the awards by itself.
