Registration starts on the 1st of December 2019 and remains open for 3 months.    

  Participants can apply in Arabic and English.  

  There are three categories of Participation (Idea Track, Scale-up Track, and Socialpreneurs Track). Participants have to choose from the beginning of application which track they want to apply to.    

  During registration, participants must fill in details about their projects and information about the team members.

   After the completion of the E-learning Courses period, 200 startups will be chosen to qualify to “Al Ruwwad” Stage based on the following:

1- Total scores obtained from the courses

2- The content and information provided in the courses and in the application form, which will be evaluated according to the agreed judging criteria as follows:

   Qualifiers to “AL Ruwwad” Stage have to prepare a 10-minutes pitch to present to judging panels who will choose the top 39 startups. 

   Each participant must apply at the nearest center to their homes, so several centers in different governorates of Iraq have been allocated to receive the participants. Iraq has been divided into 5 Zones as follows:

 The total number of teams that will qualify to the next stage is 39, which will be selected according to the criteria mentioned before.

   After presenting their pitches to the judging panels assigned at different governorates of Iraq, participants who have reached the third round will be invited to attend a three-day training boot camp that will includeworkshops and training courses.

•    During this workshop, “AL Nukhba” qualifiers will learn about various entrepreneurial concepts and the importance of teamwork. The camp will mix Iraqis from different backgrounds and different mindsets which will in turn result in valuable discussions. The lectures and the connections will strengthen the participants and prepare them for their final step; presenting in front of a judging panel and distinguished guests during the Awards Ceremony Event.

•    AL Nukhba qualifiers will be able to review and modify their presentation and at the end of the camp each team will submit their project to a specific jury as per their category of participation. Check the table below for more information about the juries.

•    9 winners -3 startups from each category- will be selected.

   After evaluating the participants, top 3 startups from each category (total 9) will qualify to the final round which is the competition on the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place in each category.

   The 9 winners “AL Faezoun” will present their final material live to a judging panel and the public during the awards ceremony, which will be attended by a number of leading figures in Iraq and politicians in addition to managers and representatives of international companies.

   The jury will judge the startups based on the judging criteria as follows:

 The 9 winners will receive cash prizes and extensive media coverage during the ceremony.
