The workforce has changed enormously due to COVID-19, and at a time dozens of startups have shut down, a cluster of startups has flourished. Alsaree3 seized the chance and was able to accelerate during this period and succeed in a challenging medium. We take pride in Alsaree3 - food delivery app based in Baghdad - who won the 1st place in the Scale-up Track in Ruwwad Al Iraq Season I, and recently raised a six-figure seed funding round with its sister company “Al Zajel.” Alsaree3 offers a fast food delivery and at the same time hardware technologies to help restaurants handle their own orders, while Al Zajel offers on-demand delivery services. Alsaree3 has been operational since 2018 providing high-quality customer service, fast deliveries, and an extensive selection of restaurants (450+) in Baghdad.
